Nonsense lah.. My name is Gary and I own Sinkaporeans.shop. I started my entrepreneur journey in 2010 selling t-shirts and 14 years later, I am still selling t-shirts.
Sinkaporeans.shop currently serves only the domestic market and all our apparel are digitally printed and fulfilled by our trustworthy printing partner at cottony.sg. Ehh David.. I steady hor? Free advertising! Free advertising!
A little about myself, my first business was selling apparel and gear from over 70 MMA, Muay Thai and BJJ brands. I also designed walkout tees for professional fighters such as RDA, Thanh Le, Tommy Hayden, Pongsiri Misatit and my old customers as well. Eventually the business shut down as the industry progresses and a lot of the brands I carried went out of business.
Along the way I also started the Got Fight? brand with Asia's coolest MMA news site (which I co-owned with my best friend) which sold an astounding number of Got Fight? apparel. Eventually he sold off the MMA news site and embarked on what I would term as a glorious journey to becoming one of the most influential men in the Asia MMA industry. As for me, i continue designing t-shirts and being well.. me.
Why the term "Sinkaporeans"? To be clear, it is not meant to be condescending, I myself an a born and bred Singaporean. I hold a pink IC. If I really have to give a reason why this term, it is probably because I find it catchy. So there you have it, I find it catchy. That's my reason for choosing this name.
And now back to Sinkaporeans.shop. When I started having the idea for this project, the aim is simply to sell t-shirts, I do not have a specific genre that I am targeting. One day I might release a doggy tee, the next day I might release a nasi lemak tee. The key is not wanting to be restricted to just one genre. Some are designed by myself, some are simply designs that I found online. That said, professional wrestling and combat sports are still my two most favourite genres so if you are a Singapore based pro wrestler or MMA fighter and would like for me to design a walkout tee for you, then hit me up.
